Passy Plaza is a charming retail shopping centre in the affluent 6th Arrondissement area of Paris. The Plaza was acquired by the client as an investment and Vining were charged in facilitating the design and implementation of a series of improvements to upgrade and freshen up the arcades. The complications of the project were heightened by the need to keep the shopping centre open at all times and to minimise disturbance to the residential occupants in the apartments over the shopping centre.

Vining appointed the design team and established a detailed brief and programme of work as well as securing all the necessary public authority and fire consents. Because the shops were open by day and the residences occupied at night working practices had to be extremely carefully managed.
